Lunch Service

A home-style nutritious lunch service is provided at Baku International School by professional cooks, but students are welcome to bring their own sack lunch to school that can be heated in a microwave made available in the school cafeteria. All items are cooked in the school’s industrial kitchen, including breads and pastries. A menu for the upcoming week is published in the weekly Newsletter.

Bus Service

A door-to-door bus service is available at Baku International School, chaperoned by a paraprofessional, supporting staff member, or teacher. The cost for one trip a day per student is 6 AZN and the cost for two trips a day per student is 10 AZN.


Weekly Newsletters

A weekly Baku International School Newsletter is sent home with each student the last day of each week of school. The Newsletter includes the weekly hot lunch menu, an outline of school events, photographs, outline of after-school activities, announcements, and articles of general interest. Parents can elect to receive the weekly Newsletter in the form of an attachment to E-mail.


Parent-School Association

The Parent-School Association is a parent elected support group involved in activities and projects with a view to improve the school. All parents are encouraged to become actively involved with the school through this association.


Class Representatives

Each class has a nominated parent Class Representative. Class Representatives are voted upon through the Parent-School Association and are under their governance.


Baku International School is fully accredited kindergarten through secondary (high school) graduation by internationally recognized Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools in the United States.
