Library

Welcome to the Tirana International School library!  The library is open to all students, faculty, staff, and parents.  The students have library classes once a week to learn how to best utilize the library.  Our school has the Destiny library system which offers Web Path Express.  This site was developed by educators to equip students with the best research information.  The teachers have resources available such as World Book, magazines, DVDs and videos for educational purposes.   QSI librarians met to up date the library curriculum and order many new resources.  In August of 2009 the TIS library will receive 65 new e-books, and 1,647 new library books, and DVDs for educational purposes.  The library currently has three rooms and will be adding a fourth room to house all of the new books.

--Provide office hours during selected times each week.
--Periodically teach a variety of health topics to different classes.
--Implement first aid and CPR training for faculty/staff.
--Ensure that first aid kits throughout the campus are available and well-stocked.
--Provide medical coverage for periodic sporting events, as needed.
